PHAR LAP AT TANFORAN AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, Jan. 22 D. J. Davis, part-owner of Phar Lap, the Australian champion, was an arrival from San Francisco today to confer with officials of the Agua Caliente Jockey Club. When interviewed, Mr. Davis declined to state when Phar Lap would be shipped South, so it Is practically certain that the "Red Terror" will remain at Tanforan until next week, at least Mr. Davis stated that the animal was coming along nicely and would in all probability be at the scene of action in ample time to be In first class condition for the running of the rich race.
