j SPANISH PLAY TO GO IN I CALIENTE HANDICAP 1 NEW ORLEANS, La., March 7. If all goes well, Spanish Play, Knebelkamp and Morris crack four-year-old will be shipped to Agua Caliente to fill his engagement in the one mile and one-quarter 50,000 added Agua Caliente Handicap, to be run on Sunday, March 20. Regardless of his possible participation in the New Orleans Handicap at Fair Grounds Saturday afternoon, C. E. Gross, trainer, plans to get .him off on the long trip Saturday night. He will leave here in superb condition and little will be asked of him after he reaches the West Coast track until he dons colors for his important objective. Trainer Gross will be accompanied by jockey Charles Landolt, who will have the mount on the son of Spanish Prince II. and C. H. "Pat" Knebelkamp. During Gross absence, Marion McGonigle will look after the big Knebelkamp and Morris string here and will saddle Hoops for the Louisiana Derby on March 19. Gross is leaving all others in the stable here, a stable pony being taken along as a companion for his star charge. From Agua Caliente, Spanish Play will be shipped direct to Louisville.
