DERBY DAY WAGERING LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 9.— The total betting in the mutuels on the seven races at Churchill Downs Derby Day was 50,819, as compared to ,377,208 for the same day a year ago, and ,098,701 for the same day in 1926, the record. Betting on the Derby Saturday totalled 77,105, as I compared with 99,455 in 1931, and 94,958 in 1926. Saturdays handle was the smallest in seven years, the large decrease the past three years being attributed to economic conditions. J
