The latter drew clear on the stretch turn and held on well. GUNFIRE, a factor throughout, tired. TOWN LIMIT showed speed, but quit badly in the stretch. PETER DIXON had no mishaps. UFORME was in close quarters early. MAID OF HONOR, crowded back on the tar turn, was outrun thereafter. CHARLIE BERGIN showed early speed.
