PROJECTILES SPEED DISPLAY HOMEWOOD, 111., June 9.— Projectile, Head Play, Le Bruyere and Strideaway exhibited high speed at Washington Park this morning when they received their final serious "prepping" for the ,000 added Thomas Curran Memorial Stakes, Saturdays stake attraction. Projectile, W. J. Salmons home-bred son of Swift and Sure —Fair Princella, sizzled over five-eighths in :59% and the half mile, in :46% and thereby clinched a place among the choices for the race, while Mrs. W.
