APPROVE SYRACUSE MEETING NEW YORK, N. Y., June 9.— At a meeting of the stewards of The Jockey Club i held yesterday, the approval of the stewards i was granted the New York State Fair to • conduct a race meeting at Syracuse, September 5 to 10 inclusive and the following officials were appointed: Mr. George Bull, steward to represent The Jockey Club. . Starter, Marshall Cassidy. Placing judges, r Thomas J. Thorpe, H. E. Ackerman, Stanley Gillespie. Clerk of scales, Stanley Gillespie. Handicapper, W. S. Vosburgh. Patrol judge, Joseph Reilly Jr. Managing director of race-ing, • Thomas J. Thorpe. Jockeys and trainers licinses were granted I and routine business was transacted. 1
