RIVERSIDES RECORD CROWD KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 5 One of the largest crowds that ever attended a race meeting in Missouri, turned out for the Labor Day program at Riverside Park. Long before post time the stands were filled to their capacity and the overflow drifted into the center field. The highway leading to the track was jammed with eager racegoers striving to reach the track long after the horses paraded to the post for the second race. The weather, while extremely hot, was somewhat tempered by a cool breeze that made conditions ideal for the days sport. Eight races was the holiday offering with the seventh race, styled the Muehle-bach Hotel Handicap, the feature attraction.
