GENERAL A. raced close to the pace under restraint, went to the outside of the leaders in the stretch, wore down TETRARCHAL and drew away. The latter showed early speed under restraint, shook off AL NEIMAN in the stretch and held on well. The latter, under restraint until called upon, moved up gamely, but quit at the end.
