SUSPENSIONS STAND NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 1. At a meeting of the stewards of The Jockey Club the suspensions against trainers W. Midgeley and J. Rowan were continued for the remainder of the year. Midgeley and Rowan were suspended at the summer meeting at Empire City for sending a horse to the post in unfit condition to race. The suspension of jockey F. Baker, set down at Belmont Park, was rescinded. W. R. Midgeley was also denied admission to tracks under jurisdiction of The Jockey Club. 9
