00 TOPS SALE AT LATONIA Brown Brutus Auctioned to M. Sim-; mons Nine Pass Under the Hammer for 25 Total. LATONIA, Ky., Nov. 5 Nine horses, all of racing age, were sold at public sale in the paddock before the first race today. Brown Brutus, sold to settle the estate of the late John Lowe, brought top price of 00, which amount M. Simmons gave for the six-year-old. The nine that passed under the hammer, sold for 25.
