WHITE COLLAR, under good riding, saved ground on the rail to get through two openings on the back stretch, came to the outside of ZEGORA on the far turn, took a long lead in the last quarter and finished well in hand. THE WHIP came gamely in the last quarter to easily beat the others. SCHOONER dropped back after going half the distance and came again in the stretch. BROWN THISTLE was never dangerous. RED LADY was never far back. DUDE RANCHER tired in the stretch. BUBSY C. was forced to pull up on the first turn. WOODGAIN was in close quarters on the first turn.
