FAIRENO TO BE RETIRED LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 8.— William Woodward, chairman of The Jockey Club, arrived today for the Derby with the information that his colt Faireno, generally accepted as last years three-year-old champion, would not stand training this spring and would be shipped to Belair Stud in Maryland on Tuesday.
