LATONIA OAKS WORKOUTS ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., July 26. The Audley Farms Knights Gal and Bright Shadow, Mrs. A. A. Baronis Bamboula and H. P. Headleys Technique, probable starters in the renewal of the Latonia Oaks, topping the closing program of the Latonia summer meeting Saturday, had valuable preparation for that race this morning. Trainer J. F. Patterson sent the Audley fillies one mile and one-quarter each, while Bamboula went nine furlongs and Techniques work was limited to one mile. Bright Shadow was timed in 2:09 and was in hand throughout and her stable companion went in 2:10 handily. Bamboula breezed throughout her final trial in which the watches caught her in 1:57, the mile in 1:44, and Techniqua moved along easily as he traversed eight furlongs in 1:44, the three-quarters being completed in 1:16.
