Ky May 16 In a great J finish possibly the most thrilling of the en ¬ 1 tire meeting Ebony Lady scored a sensa ¬ tional and surprising victory over Winooka Australian sprint champion and record holder as the speedster from the land of the kangaroo opened his second American cam ¬ paign in the Antipodes Purse at Churchill Downs this afternoon A nose and a very small one entitled the Rookwood Farm Stable filly to her victory with the out lander defeating the Everglade Stables threeyearold Dartle by a neck for second place The two others Cactus Rose and Open Hearth were never in the contest All three of the leaders reached the front at stages of the threequarters which the win ¬ ner negotiated on a dull slow track in the fine time of 113 113After After forcing Dartles fast pace to the stretch the Australian worked his way to the front and though holding on tenaciously under a good ride at the hands of Lee Humphries the first American jockey to ride the big son of Windbag and
