FIGURES FOR BAY MEADOWS San Bruno Course Fares Better Than Expected During Meeting. Makes Expenses Despite Continued Bad Weather and Track Conditions Head Play Heads Money Winners. Despite bad weather and difficult footing prevailing approximately ninety per cent of the period from March 12 to April 16, Bay Meadows did not fare as poorly as was expected, the mutuel handle, according to last reports from San Bruno, averaging close to 0,000 per day, or enough to insure expenses for the meeting, which ran for twenty-nine days. The Bay Meadows Jockey Club distributed 194,670 for an average of ,712.76 daily. Mrs. Silas B. Mason headed the list of money winning owners with 0,300, followed by the Northway Stable with 3,855. A. A. Baroni also fared well when his horses earned 0,700. Head Play, winner of the 5,000 added Bay Meadows Handicap, his share being 0,300, was the leading money winning horse. Top Row, which scored in the St. Patricks Day and Spring Handicaps, nosed out Toro Flight for second place with ,900, the Northway racer earning ,520. T.
