WHISKOLO AND MATES FOR DETROIT DERBY j ARLINGTON, Texas, April 20. The Milky Way Farms Stable of Mrs. F. C. Mars has serious designs on the Detroit Derby and its 5,000 added value which will be run Saturday, June 15. Bob McGarvcy, trainer of the stable, yesterday entered four of his promising colts for the event. Heading the list is Whiskolo, which finished second in the Santa Anita Derby and a Kentucky Derby eligible later on. In addition, he has entered Blue Armor, Gallaclay, and South Gallant and believes he holds a very strong hand in the race. South Gallant particularly is coming along so fast that he may develop into the crack three-year-old of the stable. He is partial also to the mud, which will make him a dangerous factor in the race in the event of rain.
