MUCH ACTIVITY AT DEL MAR New Track Taking Shape With Crew of Six Hundred Men at Work i Barns Completed DEL MAR Calif May 14 All Is bustle and intense activity here where preparation for the inaugural meeting of the Del Mar Turf Club is concerned More than 600 men are included in the various crews working on the clubhouse grandstand executive buildings barns and track The program calls for1 completion of the racing plant in ample time for the opening on Saturday July 3 3Work Work on the exterior of the grandstand Is completed save the building of sixtyodd boxes And the clubhouse is changing in its physical appearance by the minute A corps of men are working on the track which is assuming definite shape Five of the ten adobe barns are practically complete and work on the boarding house soon wilt begin Foundations for the receiving barn and the secretarys office are laid Altogether things are up to scratch
