LINDBERGH RUMORS ABSURD LONDON England Nov 3 Circles close to Col Charles A Lindbergh again were compelled to deny reports today that the American airman plans to become a British subject and take a major civil aviation post here The rumor was published Saturday in the West End and Soho Weekly edited by John Carveth Wells son of the noted ex ¬ plorer Other quarters pointed to the obvious absurdity of the story since Colonel Lind ¬ bergh lives on a French island and has never fulfilled residence qualifications for British naturalization
