MOUNT ROYAL INAUGUEAL MONTREAL Que July 14 Racing on the Quebec circuit is resumed at Montreal on Saturday with the opening of a fourteen day meeting at Mount Royal Park home of the Back River Jockey Club With more than 400 thoroughbreds waiting to sport silks many of which are slated to make their first local appearance of the season the outlook for the most successful meeting this track has enjoyed in the past dozen years is exceedingly bright Today Mount Royal is under the personal management of Lou Caruso a newcomer to the sport here and it is doubtful if a more energetic and hustling character has ever been connected with Montreal racing Caruso has been on the scene of action for the past month and in that time has worked wonders with the St Laurent Course
