DISTRIBUTE ARLINGTON PARK CONDITION BOOK BOOKCovers Covers First Two Weeks7 Racing at North Side Course Minimum Daily Disbursement Is 9200 9200Condition Condition books for the first twelve days of Arlington Parks thirtyfourday meeting June 23 July 31 are being distributed by racing ShelleyPurse secretary Robert S Shelley Purse distribution for the two weeks amounts to 134800 Fees for the six stakes to be run during that period will increase the outlay by approximately 35000 35000The The gross distribution for the entire meet ¬ ing will exceed a half million dollars con ¬ sisting of approximately 300000 in over ¬ night purses 115000 in stake endowments and the remainder in horsemens nomina ¬ tion eligibility and starting fees This will provide a daily average distribution of al ¬ most 15000 and constitutes the first half of the coordinated 1000000 racing program of Arlington and Washington Parks This is the richest racing for Chicago in a decade decadeNo No purse is less than 1000 The minimum daily distribution is 9200 consisting of one race at 1500 three at 1200 one at 1100 and three at 1000 On six of the first twelve days the total of stake endowments and purses will range from 10200 to 18000 18000LASSIE LASSIE MAY GROSS 35000 35000Stakes Stakes to be run during the first two weeks in chronological order are the 2500 added Myrtlewood six furlongs the 2500 added Primer five and onehalf furlongs the 7500 added Matron one mile the 2500 added Northwestern seven furlongs the 10000 added Stars and Stripes mile and oneeighth and the 10000 added Lassie six furlongs The latter is expected to gross ap ¬ proximately 35000 35000The The condition book indicates a further ex ¬ pansion of Arlington Parks program of races on its turf course One race a day is provided over the grass One of these is at one and a half miles and another at a mile and threequarters Later in the meet ¬ ing on July 9 and 19 respectively the 2500 added Grassland at one and onesixteenth miles and the 7500 added Arlington Hand ¬ icap at one and threesixteenths miles will be decided on the grass course courseIn In all races longer than a mile and a quarter the trainer of the winning horse will receive a special award of 100 In ad ¬ dition there will be contest awards amount ¬ ing to 7000 which will be distributed to the leading trainers jockeys and apprentice rid ¬ ers chosen on a point basis according to the finish of their horses horsesThe The first condition book contains nineteen races for twoyearolds three of them for fillies exclusively Eleven events for three yearolds only include one exclusively for fillies the Pan Zareta at seven furlongs
