IMPROVEMENTS AT SARATOGA IN ADVANCED STAGE STAGENEW NEW YORK N Y June 2 Joe Cohn public relations man at all five New York major racing plants returned to the Metro ¬ politan area yesterday after a visit of a couple of days at Saratoga and reports work on the upstate plant far advanced for the meeting that opens July 28 and runs through August 30 30Mrs Mrs Ann Clare track superintendent at the Saratoga Association Park has a crew of seventyfive men at work there A part of this force is occupied in picking up pebbles and raking thev racing strip proper while others are busy setting out the myriads of flowers which are so much ad ¬ mired by patrons of the track Still others are installing new Sanitary facilities in the large stable area areaA A new additional parking area is being provided on the Oklahoma side of the course and a new road will be constructed inside the grounds behind the stands to connect two of the drives and help speed up traffic to the entrances and exits during the season
