APPROVE EIGHTRACE CARDS CARDSSTANTON STANTON Del Juno 18 According to word received here jtho Maryland Racing Commission has notified owners and directors of that states five county fair tracks that eight races will be per ¬ mitted during the season provided tho events can be run within a threehour period periodThree Three tracks Belalr Cumberland and Timonium presented eightrace pro ¬ grams last year one of the races was n steeplechase They will be asked to continue the use of the grass course each day while Marlboro and Ilagcrs town unable to accommodate the jump ¬ ers will be permitted to offer eight flat races racesThe The tracks also were notified that tho minimum purse shall bo 500 and no more than twentyfivo minutes shall elapse between races In the event thoso tracks carding steeplechase races arc unable to fill the brush events they will be permitted to offer eight flat races
