GERALD DIXON BRINGS HOME ANOTHER WINNER AT OMAHA OMAHAOMAHA OMAHA Neb June 18 Little GJerald Dixon who rode the first winner of his career Tuesday afternoon and was fined for failing to keep his mount straight made no mistakes with Norma Clark favorite in the first race Wednesday There was no chance for Dixon to get in trouble with the tenyearold mare during the stretch run as after going a short distance she was well in advance of the field and continued to increase her lead thereafter to finish far in front Next to her in the running came Lady M an outsider while third money went to Go Honor still another long shot The race was for Nebraskabreds exclusively and was a five and a half furlongs affair The return of summerlike weather to tho Omaha district was responsible for a good sized Wednesday turnout and the racing strip while improved over that of Tuesday was still slow
