HAGERSTOWN BOOSTS PURSES PURSESHAGERSTOWN HAGERSTOWN Md June 24 Announce ¬ ment has been made by the Hagerstown Fair Asociation of a substantial increase in purses which will be distributed to horse ¬ men during the coming meeting of ten days to be staged at the local Fair Grounds President Harold F Bester of the Hub City track stated that purses for the approach ¬ ing tenday session will be the highest in the history of the plant with the minimum purse to be set at 500 with a general sprinling of larger purses for racea of the better class including handicaps and allow ¬ ance events
