Sollure Makes Good In Suffolk Offering OfferingThreetoFive ThreetoFive Choice Takes Lead at Start and Is Never Headed Undulator Second SecondBOSTON BOSTON Mass May 12 A program riddled by scratches owing to the sloppy track resulted in small fields parading postward in the majority of the offerings at Suffolk Downs today The top event of the afternoon was the six furlongs of the Revere Purse a condition offering that brought together four threeyearolds It resulted formfully when Sollure the 3 to 5 choice from the H G Bedwell string raced in front every stride of the way It was a sort of family affair when T F Bled soes Undulator trained by L G Bedwell son of Sollures owner raced to the place Dream Parade racing for H J3 Polk led home the only other starter Elkton ElktonJockey Jockey J Breen was astride Sollure and handled the favorite in confident fashion For about the opening threesixteenths Dream Parade went along with the leader with Elkton and Undulator racing heads apart After a quarter of a mile the Polk gelding began yielding ground and Sollure drew clear Rounding from the back stretch the Bledsoe colt was asked to im ¬ prove his speed and moved into second place placeTaken Taken in Hand in Final Stages StagesIt It was not until straightening out for home that Sollure was permitted to in ¬ crease his lead Undulator was well before the others and Elkton had dropped back to last place When freed from restraint the oddson choice bounded away with Breen taking him in hand through the closing stages stagesThe The others were simply not up to coping with Sollure and crossed the finish line in Indian file fileDespite Despite the continued inclement weather a good midweek crowd was on hand handCattachiptico Cattachiptico racing for ownerbreeder C T Chenery just galloped to the juve ¬ nile maidens in the fourth race The Sun ador filly after establishing practically all of the running came to the finish with five lengths to spare over Mrs Weston W Adams Cavatorta with Valdina Valona earning third for J Trttett Jr ChinaLady a stable companion to the winner was fourth The test was under a claiming val ¬ uation of 2500 2500Ridden Ridden by the veteran Charlie Perna Cattachiptico required only a few strides to get to the front and from then on it was only a parade as far as the winner was concerned The Chenery entry paid 1020 The four and a half furlongs were covered in 55 55Milkymoon Milkymoon from the W E Johnson string in the money in each of his last four races scored a frontrunning victory iin the one mile and a sixteenth of the sixth race The Milkman gelding sprinted into a comfortable lead early in the action and revelling in the sloppy going was never to be threatened Mrs W W Adams PariErnest finished gamely to overhaul Hattie Belle from the I Bieber string to take the place award
