Officials for Wheeling Season Are Announced AnnouncedBrice Brice and Brinton Stewards Shewbridge Racing Secretary SecretaryWHEELING WHEELING W Va May 25 The official racing family for Wheeling Downs sevenday Charity Meet and twentyone day spring meeting as approved by the West Virginia Racing Commission was an ¬ nounced here today by general manager Edward J Brennart The season gets under way on May 28 28Racing Racing Secretary W H Shewbridge will return to the Island oval for his tenth meeting and in addition to his duties as secretary will again serve with Frank Basnett and J G Haus as Placing Judges JudgesMalcom Malcom T Brice representing the West Virginia Jockey Club and Wilmer Brintori who represents the West Virginia Racing Commission will again serve as Stewards A third Steward remains to be named namedIra Ira Gregory will do the starting Gil Haus will serve as Clerk of Scales while F Basnett will serve as Padock Judge Henry Carroll returns as Patrol Judge while Robey Ensor will act as Outrider Dr D E Greentltch will be track physician while Dr J R Dick will be track veterinarian and supervisor of saliva tests
