Fairaris Flashes High Speed In Workout at Woodbine Park ParkTORONTO TORONTO Ont May 31 One of the most phenomenal trials ever witnessed by local dockers was recorded on Sunday morning at WoodbinePark when the Park wood Stables Englishbred Fairaris rat ¬ tled off five furlongs in 59 shading by I onefifth of a secorid the track standard for that distance established by the Belair Studs Faireno when taking down top money in the Victoria Stakes in 1931 1931Working Working alone and with at least 130 pounds on his back the Parkwood Stable colt spun the furlongs in 12 23 344 47 59 He pulled up the six furlongs in 112 The colt was never extended at any stage and naturally the work pleased trainer Frank Gilpin most highly highlyPresent Present plans according to trainer Gil pen call for Fairaris leaving for Detroit very shortly and after a brief sojourn in the Motor City will entrain for Chicago to vie for the Stars and Stripes Handicap an affair which Stand Pat won when under the tuelage of Gilpen while carrying the black and yellow silks of the Seagram Sta ¬ ble
