Mexico City Ruling RulingMEXICO MEXICO CITY Mexico May 31 The stewards of the Mexican City Jockey Club announced the following ruling rulingFor For not riding their mounts the full distance in the running of the seventh race May 23 1943 jockeys W Morrisey and F Weidaman are suspended for the next two racing days daysThe The race in question was a marathon at one mile and seven furlongs After going around for the second time Morrisey who was astride Suertero and Weidaman rid ¬ ing Semprolus Moon thought the race was over Morrisey was first to pull up his mount and Weidaman seeing Morrisey take up followed suit Suertero finished third in the race while Weidaman made no effort to punish his mount and finished last
