Closing of Suffolk Stakes StakesBOSTON BOSTON Mass May 31 Although the next important stake to be decided at Suf ¬ folk Downs the 5000 Commonwealth Handicap is nearly a week away the at ¬ tention of horsemen has already been called to Saturdays closing of the 5000 Plymouth Rock Handicap sixfurlong fea ¬ ture scheduled for June 12 Handicaps at the Downs close a week ahead of each run ¬ ning with the exception of the 50000 Massachusetts 15000 Mayflower Stakes and 10000 Hannah Dustin all of which close Tuesday June 15
