Suffolks War Relief Plans Depend on Rockingham Meet MeetBOSTON BOSTON Mass May 31 Plans of the Eastern Racing Association to aid war relief this year were clarified today Contrary to reports the proceeds from the July 4 holi ¬ day which will be celebrated July 5 will not be donated to the cause and it de ¬ velops Suffolk Downs never issued an an ¬ nouncement to that effect War Relief Day or days at the local track is dependent upon whether Rockingham Park conducts a meeting from July 19 to August 7 as tentatively planned If Rockingham Park operates the final three days of the current meeting at Suffolk Downs July 15 16 and 17 will be devoted to war relief and charita ¬ ble purposes If Rockingham Park does not operate the Suffolk Downs meeting will be extended three weeks to August 7 bridging the pe ¬ riod of idleness at the New Hampshire track and the proceeds from the racing during that period will be donated to war relief funds and local charities
