Caste Fusano Goes to Coast CoastHAVANA HAVANA Cuba June 11 Dr Ro ¬ berto A Vieites Cuban thoroughbred breeder reports that the French stal ¬ lion Castel Fusano whom he owns jointly with E Godoy Havana and who has been standing at Douglas Davis High Hope Stud Lexington Ky will make the 1944 45 and 46 seasons at Walter McCartys Stud in California The son of KsarRed Flame by Vermillion a top race horse in France has had only limited opportunities at stud in recent years and it is expected that California breeders will give him a better chance McCarty has ten mares al ¬ ready booked to Castel Fusano The horse will be shipped to McCartys breeding farm early in July Sev ¬ eral Texas breeders contacted Dr Vieites regarding leasing the French stallion and Sarge Swenke also made overtures in behalf of Al Sabath who wanted the horse for his new farm near Lexington The Cuban breeder decided in favor of McCarty and California Dr Vieites has Bow To Me in Cuba and also Gen Markham and Khossbood
