Bay Meadows and Hollywood Reach Agreement on Dates LOS ANGELES, Calif., April 26.— In an informal discussion* Bay Meadows and Hollywood Park came to an agreement here today on racing dates for the current year. Details of the changes in racing plans, if any, which will be recommended to the Racing Board for approval at an early date, were not made public. However, both sides stated the meeting was amicable in every way, and that when the two groups separated they were in perfect accord. Joseph Cohen and William Horn-blower represented the San Mateo track, and met informally with a majority of the Hollywood Park directors, headed by Jack F. MacKenzie. At the Racing Boards meeting last week 55 days were granted the Inglewood course and it was announced Bay Meadows fall dates would be pared down to fit in with Southern California racing. William P. Kyne objected that his track had committed Itself to War Relief to an extent that would not permit its schedule being reduced.
