June 1.— Nine men, who were arrested at Jamaica yesterday on bookmaking charges, were granted adjournments for hearings on various dates between June 6 and June 11 by Magistrate Francis J. Fifty-sixth st.. Manhattan; Jacob Diegelman. 12 Kenil-worth place. Brooklyn, and Charles Snyder. 84 Kingston av.. Floral Park. The arrests were made by detectives of the New York police department.
