Mitchell Goes to Gresham LOUISVILLE. Ky.. June 1.— Michael Mitchell, supervisor of pari-mutuel betting at several tracks, is en route to Portland, Ore., where he will be in charge of waget-ing during the 11-day meeting at Gresham Park. The latter course, situated at Gresham and operated by the Multnomah County Fair Association, will inaugurate its season next Tuesday, June 5. and there will be racing daily, except Sunday, through June 16.
