Limit Fields to Eight Horses at Cranwood Park ParkCRANWOOD CRANWOOD PARK Warrensville Ohio May 3 Racing secretary Lewis J Giles reports that limit fields of eight horses would prevail in all races to be presented during the 19day Cranwood Park meet ¬ ing which opens May 12 Giles explained nearly 1000 horses will be on hand from which to draw The Thistle Down and Randall Park stabling areas are gradually reaching capacity and daily arrival of shipments promises to find all stalls filled by opening day dayAn An abundance of fit horses is assured with a good portion of the stalls having been allocated to horsemen coming here from Phoenix Ariz and Tampa Fla Both points were the scene of winter race meetings meetingsAbout About 250 horses were sent here from Beulah Park near Columbus Ohio fol ¬ lowing the announcement by that racing association that a spring meeting would not be held Other horses were sent here from farms throughout Ohio and Kentucky where they had been turned out during the cold months
