Blanks for Lincoln Fields Stakes Being Distributed DistributedCHURCHILL CHURCHILL DOWNS Louisville Ky May 3 Attaches of racing secretary Law ¬ rence C Bogenschutz office are distribut ¬ ing stakes blanks for the forthcoming Lin cold Fields meeting which will open at Washington Park on Monday May 17 and close on Saturday June 19 Seven added money features are to be decided during the Lincoln Fields session the Crete Hand ¬ icap Joliet Stakes Steger Handicap La Salle Handicap and Miss America Stakes all valued at 10000 added and the 25000 Peabody Memorial and 15000 Lincoln Handicap The Crete will bervuv on May 17 and closes for entries May 7 the Joliet is to be decided onMay 22 and closes for nomi ¬ nations May 12 the Steger will feature the May 29 program and nominations for that stake are to close on Wednesday May 19 The Peabody richest race on the Lincoln Fields schedule will have its renewal on Memorial Day holiday May 31 and it closes for entries on Friday May 25 25The The La Salle will be run this year on June 5 and closes May 27 the Miss Amer ¬ ica Stakes a fivefurlong dash for two yearold fillies and a new feature at Lin ¬ coln Fields is to have jits inaugural run ¬ ning on June 12 and closes for nominees June 2 the Lincoln Handicap is to head ¬ line the final program of the session on June 19 and entries for the one mile and one quarter test close on Wednesday June 9 =
