Decide to Send Cootown Postward In Preakness PreaknessCHURCHILL CHURCHILL DOWNS Louisville Ky May 7 Following a telephone conversation at noon today with War ¬ ren Wright owner of the Calumet Farm and racing1 stable general manager trainer Ben A Jones announced that Coaltown victor in the Blue Grass Stakes and second to his illustrious stablemate Citation in the Kentucky Derby is to be shipped to Pimlico to sjart in the Preakness Stakes a week from tomorrow tomorrowJones Jones stated that Coaltown will leave for Maryland the first of next weekno definite date having been set for the shipment In the meantime jockey Newbold Leroy Pierson left for Pimlico io handle Calumet Farms Fervent in tomorrows Dixie Handicap Pierson will return to Churchill Downs on Sunday after filling the Saturday stakes en ¬ gagement but he will go back to Mary ¬ land in time to handle Coaltown in the Preakness The move came as a surprise for it was believed that the Calumet forces would rely chiefly on Citation in the Baltimore event
