MarylandBreds Successful In Four Out of Eight Races RacesPIMLICO PIMLICO Baltimore Md May 12 Something of a record is believed to have been set with the running of yesterdays Pimlico program insofar as home talent is concerned concernedFour Four of the eight races were won by Marylandbred horses including the vic ¬ tory of Nathaniel in the Jennings Handi ¬ cap and seven of the eight events on the card went to Maryland owners The only exception here was in the Jennings Handi ¬ cap for while Nathaniel is a Maryland bred he is owned by Mrs W S FaYish who races under the name of Lazy F Ranch RanchThe The first two races were won by Infirst and Lovi Lovi both Marylandbreds The former is owned by Brookfield Farm nom de course of Harry Isaacs and the latter by Mrs R H Heighe both Marylanders MarylandersIn In the steeplechase Navigate was the victor and while he is not a Maryland bred his owner Rigan McKinney main ¬ tains an establishment near Ellicott City and is a director of Laurel race course courseAlfred Alfred Vanderbilts homebred Composer was the third locally bred performer to score in the fourth while Reigh Foray winner in the fifth is owned by Ella K Bryson of Kingsville Md After Nathaniels triumph in the Jennings Bordeaux carried the Knollwood Stable silks to victory in the seventh This stable is owned by Irwin Grinsfelder of Baltimore and then in the eighth event Mrs Alice F Hecht another Baltimorean was victorious when Sopho ¬ cles was first home
