Decrease Insignificant InsignificantNEW NEW YORK N Y May 17 The de ¬ crease in attendance and mutuel play at the meeting of the Metropolitan Jockey Club at Jamaica this year as compared with last year was insignificant a study of the figures reveals The total attendance at the 39day session which ended last Saturday was 1112082 an average of 28515 as against 1028950 an average of 28582 for the 36day season in 1947 comprising the associations spring and fall meetings The mutuel play was 78703100 an average of 2018028 this year against 77899186 an average of 2163861 in 1947
