Ban Australian Trainer TrainerSYDNEY SYDNEY Australia May 28 CReuters The Australian Jockey Club stewards today disqualified for life trainer D Denham and the horse Frontal Attack stating that after the horse finished third in the James Barnes Plate at Randwick on May 8 a swab was taken and analysis showed it contained a drug A subsequent inquiry caused one of the biggest stories in New South Wales racing for many years Den ham a former jockey became a licensed trainer in 1939 and won several races in 1940 In 1941 he joined the armed forces and resumed training activities in 1946 This season he had won four races for total prize money of almost 20000 20000Trainer Trainer Denham is to appeal the case to the Australian Jockey Club because he was not informed of the nature of the drug alleged to have been administered to Frontal Attack
