leaders to the upper turn assumed command entering the stretch and was vigorously ridden during tle final furlong to withstand SHY GUY The latter reserved and saving ground until the last threeeighths was taken out slightly at the final turn and responding to punishment finished fast but could not overtake the winner although easily best of the others EAGLE LOOK a keen factor throughout reached the lead after coming out of the backstretch continued willingly to the last eighth then weakened PIET on the outside throughout failed to rally when set down in the drive APPROVAL was outrun PAPA REDBIRD failed to stay after showing early speed WASHBURN was overmatched BEAUKISS assumed an early lead made the pace for a halfmile then gave way CAILLOU ROUGE was through early SEVENTH RACE 78 MILE out of came to the middle of the track and finished determinedly GAY SECRET set the pace under occasional urging then faltered in the drive CAPTAIN JOE performed evenly without mishap GOTHAM began slowly and
