Officials for Ascot Park Meeting Approved ApprovedASCOT ASCOT PARK Northampton Ohio June 1 The group of officials which will govern the sport during the 19day Ascot Park meeting scheduled to open Saturday was announced today by Dan E Cronin general manager of the Ascot Park Jockey Club The official staff as approved by the Ohio State Racing Commission listed to oversee the spring session at this three quarter mile plant situated five miles Northeast of Akron in Summitt County includes several new appointments appointmentsThomas Thomas J Biown will serve as starter replacing the late Jack Yerian who was the victim of an automobile accident last summer Brown is not new here having served previously at this course as a steward and paddock judge judgeClovis Clovis Keller who was formerly a placing judge for the Ascot Park Jockey Club has been assigned the position of paddock judge according to Cronin Thomas Sanford Robert Saxton and E W Stribling return as stewards B H Held Robert Saxton and Thomas Sanford fill the role of placing judges Raymond Wymer clerk of scales and E W Bury rac ¬ ing secretary and handicapper
