Everett Appointed Director Of Racing at Del Mar MarLOS LOS ANGELES Calif June 16 Joseph Schenck who with Jay Paley recently ac ¬ quired controlling interest in the Del Mar race track announced last night that Webb Everett racing secretary of Santa Anita Park had been appointed director of racing for the Turf Meeting of the Surf course Everett will also retain his post with the Arcadia track trackSchenck Schenck also announced there would be no major changes in the operating per ¬ sonnel at Del Mar MarHerman Herman Sharpe who acted in a similar capacity last season will again serve as racing secretary at the Bill Tunneyman aged course A list of officials for the meeting which opens on July 30 and con ¬ tinues through September 11 is expected to be made known in a few days
