Brennan Sees Good Meeting MeetingMONMOUTH MONMOUTH PARK Oceanport N J June 21 With a good break in the weather I am hopeful that the coming 42day summer meeting will be equally as good as the 1947 season general man ¬ ager Edward J Brennan of Monmouth Park stated this morning I am aware of the slump in mutuel play and attend ¬ ance at some tracks and that the new tax law in this state will militate against us but the final week of the meet finds us the only track in operation in the met ¬ ropolitan area and this may enable us to overcome some of our early drop off when we face competition from the South Pros ¬ pects however are bright and we face the season with a feeling of confidence
