Ocean Front Gains First Win of Year at Delaware DelawareOutdistances Outdistances Camargo by Six Lengths in Great Dyke Purse PurseDELAWARE DELAWARE PARK Stanton Del June 25 Racing to his initial success of the current racing season Mrs H K Rickeys Ocean Front found little opposition as he galloped to a sixlength victory in the mile and onesixteenth Great Dyke Purse fifth and featured event on the Delaware Park program Showing marked improvement and attracting a surprising amount of sup ¬ port from the small crowd of approximate ¬ ly 8500 Ocean Front was timed in 144 and was favored at 540 Under Johnny Breen Ocean Front finished in front of Christiana Stables Camargo and William Pawleys Travancore and through his vic ¬ tory may have earned a starting position in the 25000 added Sussex Handicap on the final Saturdays program programOcean Ocean Front outbroke his rivals when starter George Palmer sent the field on its way but Breen wisely elected to take back off the pace as Travancore and Ca ¬ margo raced almost as a team for the first halfmile Ocean Front was in third position with Highfortidies lapped on him March Chick and Dirl were also lapped about two lengths behind Highfortidies Camargo wrested the lead from Travan ¬ core on the final bend as March Chick and Highfortidies appeared set for a rally Their threats were feeble however and only Ocean Front moved to challenge for supremacy supremacyWhen When Breen clucked to Ocean Front the 1 fouryearold son of Easton and Sunny Home left no doubt as to the final result He sprinted by Camargo like a quarter horse and rapidly attained an everin ¬ creasing margin stretching it to six lengths at the wire Camargo a game but dead tired filly was two lengths before the faltering Travancore
