Batcheller Rides First Winner WinnerARLINGTON ARLINGTON PARK Arlington Heights 111 June 25 Logan David Batcheller a 19yearold youth from Azusa Calif rode the first winner of his career here yester ¬ day when he piloted Dry Belt to victory in the final race The lad is under contract to Paul L Kelley and is regarded by his employer as an excellent prospect Kelley has developed such jockeys as J Ashcroft L Humphreys O Harbort and A Jelley and says Batcheller has shown better promise than any of them at this stage of his career Batcheller rode a heady race on Dry Belt allowing him to lag early then moving through on the inside for his win ¬ ning bid
