SONNY M., away alertly, saved ground while in hand to the stretch, bumped the tiring KY. RIVER when moving up at the final turn and, after disposing - of HEART FLASH, won with something left. NICE TINT drifted out nearing the stretch, finished well when —i straight for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. HEART FLASH went to the front soon after the C start, established a long lead during the first half mile, but faltered during the stretch run. OUR SISTER ?2 began slowly and was unable to get to the leaders when set down in the drive. BEST OF BREED was never prominent. KY. OUR KITE, hustled to the front early, made the pace to the stretch while racing well out from the inner rail, responded to mild urging thereafter and won going away. HUMPHREY began fast, was on the outside throughout and closed willingly, but could not seriously threaten the winner, although much the best of the others. CREEP MOUSIE lacked early speed and was unable to get to the leaders when set down through the stretch. SIR COBO tired after racing for-wardly placed to the stretch. FAVORITE TRAP was never a serious contender. BOTHER went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, then weakened. COUNT QUICK was outrun.
