Sirkin to Give Hititlucky Another Chance This Year YearHAZEL HAZEL PARK Mich May 4 John J Sirkin Hazel Park toolanddie worker is going to give his prize filly another chance this year yearAfter After almost losing tb filly last fall Sirkin has taken over the training of the daughter of Windy City II and Gone Again which he won at the Hazel Park race track by naming her Hititlucky He was awarded Hititlucky as the prize in the first name thehorse contest held at the track in 1955 1955Sirkin Sirkin turned down offers as high as 7500 for the filly when she was a year ¬ ling When she turned two Hititlucky raced 10 times without success finishing fourth once onceLate Late last year her fledging owner was on the verge of selling her to pay the feed bills but managed to retain ownership ownershipNow Now Sirkin has moved Hititlucky into a stall at Hazel Park and hopes to realize his fond dreams of a winner in his Windy City Stable colors The filly has been training well and is expected to start at the 62day meet opening Friday May 24 24Sirkin Sirkin himself has been studying hard so that he will qualify for a trainers license with the Michigan Racing Commission CommissionIm Im really not a green hand with horses he said After all I grew up on a farm and Ive been around horses most of my life
