One Race Weekly at Suffolk For New EnglandFoaled Horses HorsesEAST EAST BOSTON Mass May 8 Suffolk Downs will schedule one race a week for horses foaled in New England throughout the tracks 36day spring meeting which opens Mondway May 19 Judge J C Pappas president and managing director of Suf ¬ folk and Arthur Hunt racing secretary said the races are designed to stimulate the breeding industry in this area Horses of all ages will be included in the program of homebred races racesHunt Hunt has listed two such events in his first condition book covering the first nine days of the Suffolk session A 3000 purse for New Englandbred threeyearolds at 6 furlongs has been scheduled for Tuesday May 20 and a 4 furlongs test for two yearolds foaled in this sector has been carded for May 27 Hunt says he plans a sprint for older horses and two or three route tests later in the meeting
