CURL AND BALDWIN STABLES READY. Los Angeles, Cal., September 2S. James Curl has .arrived here with his stable from Seattle. About 250 horses were shipped with his to Oakland and this point. Curl has a string of ten horses, headed by Orilene, the champion mare of The Meadows season. He also has Chimney Sweep, which stepped a mile in l:3Si recently, showing that he is back to that form which enabled him to inake a track record at Ascot season before last. Others in the Curl string are Common Sue, Bragg, Gateway, Varietes, Taos and Ben Stone. Charles Baldwin, who had charge of the "Lucky" Baldwin horses at Seattle, also has arrived and the horses will follow at once. Lisaro is the star of the Baldwin string, although there are several youngsters of proved ability in the bunch. Rey del Mundo is, included and Cruzados will be added when the stable is sent to Santa Anita Park.
